The main component of phosphogypsum is gypsum (calcium sulfate dihydrate), a traditional binder material with the potential for reuse which can become an important raw material for high-efficiency construction and building renovation. By separating and purifying, the harmful impurities in phosphogypsum can be removed, turning waste treasure. Shengchuang Company has made preliminary progress in the application of phosphogypsum building materials, and has produced conventional building materials such as high-phosphogyps concrete curbstones, phosphogypsum road base stabilization materials, phosphogypsum slope protection bricks and phosphogypsum fences, which have been applied in many construction projects.
